Pale golden-green in color, remarkable and aromatic intensity on the nose, and floral notes of white flowers such as hawthorn, acacia, eglantine, and elderflower on the tongue, the Comte Lafond Sancerre checks all the boxes. It is backed up by blackcurrant buds and wild flowers, is lively on the palate with very pleasant acidulous characteristics prolonged by light fruity notes, and full and refreshing. This drink is dominated by flinty stones and chalk typical of fine Sancerre wines.
