The wines predominantly hillside provenance is revealed in layers of blackberry liqueur, licorice, and espresso, with savory, energetic notes of Darjeeling tea and dried orange peel adding further complexity. The soft, ripe and well-integrated tannins add plushness and texture; Darius II finishes long and persistent with notes of incense, sweet oak, and dried herbs.
